Made Easy Using “GRL” Marinade Masala Pack 

This Tandoori Fish/Seafood recipe is mildly spiced and tangy.

This dish is NON-DAIRY and an easy crowd pleaser. It makes a quick lunch or dinner for the family and guests! Tandoori Fish/Seafood is an amazingly easy way to make grilled fish/seafood. All that is required is about 5-10 minutes to make the marinate . Spread it over both sides of the fish/seafood, marinate a couple of hours, and grill on the B.B.Q or bake in the oven at 350 degrees on a foil lined baking tray for easy cleanup.

Recommended: Boneless fillet of salmon, halibut with skin on one side, shelled jumbo prawns/shrimps or scallops!! For best results marinate for 2 hours. For best flavors grill on the BBQ.

Boneless skinless fillet of cod, trout, sole or red snapper is best when pan fried on nonstick pan with a bit of cooking oil. Cooking times may vary depending on the size of your fish/seafood.

This recipe is NON-DAIRY AND SPICES HAVE NO ADDED GLUTEN.

NOTES: Grilled Tandoori Fish-Seafood masala packs can be stored in the freezer for up to 12 months to retain freshness.  Leftovers can be stored in the freezer for 3 months to enjoy one more time.

  • PREP TIME:  10 mins

  • COOK TIME: 10 mins

  • ADDITIONAL TIME: 2 hrs

  • TOTAL TIME: 2 hrs 20 mins

  • YIELD: 6-8 servings

1 Step: USING “GRL” MARINADE MASALA PACK

  • .750-1 kg skin on boneless fillet of fish, or shelled prawns, shrimps, or scallops

  • 1 tbsp cooking oil

  • 2 tbsp  lemon juice

  • 1pk  “GRL marinade masala pack        

  1. Wash, clean and pat dry fish or seafood.

  2. In a separate bowl mix together all the above marinade ingredients along with the whole “GRL marinade masala pack until well combined.

  3. Place fish fillet/seafood in a shallow pan and coat both sides well with the marinate. Cover with lid or plastic wrap and place in refrigerator to marinade for a few minutes to two hours or even overnight.

  4. Be sure to take the fish/seafood out of the refrigerator 1-2 hours prior to grilling to bring it to room temperature.

  5. When it’s time to cook fish/seafood, grease the portion of your grill and heat to medium-high. Remove marinated fish/ seafood and place on grill. Scrape any marinade left in the pan, and pour evenly on the fish/seafood. Grill for about 5 minutes per side, flipping once. Seafood may require less time per side.  


Serving Recommendations

Serve fish/seafood immediately off the grill on top of fluffy basmati rice, Ashi’s Rasoi Rice Pilaf With Peas or on a bed of sauteed cabbage with some cilantro leaves, lemon wedges and red onion slices.
